About Lokahi
Lokahi Tennis is a nonprofit organization that strives to be a resource in the community for higher learning, physical education, and overall well being through the sport of tennis.
Lokahi was born during the post-pandemic transition, with a couple families getting together to have a Saturday playday at Waimanalo District Park. Some local tennis coaches noticed the small group of tennis players and started to help out the group on Saturdays. One year later, this free Saturday tennis clinic grew and turned into the amazing organization it is now!
Today, Lokahi Tennis operates tennis programs, camps, and tournaments for kids and adults of all different ages/levels on the windward side of Oahu. In addition, Lokahi is also involved in multiple community service projects throughout the year, as well as higher educational opportunities and physical education.
It should also be noted that Lokahi Tennis is part of the legacy formerly known as Kailua Community Tennis Association, started by Coach Arnold Yuen and Pam Nakaso.
